[BFComms] Update on Platoons and the B-81 Cavalry

Battlefield Community

We remain committed to delivering high-quality experiences for our players. We have determined that the B-81 Cavalry and our Platoons feature are not ready for deployment as they do not meet our internal quality standards.

Season 5 Phase 3 will still launch on December 8, featuring a new Operation as well as our updates for Blackwell Fields and New Sobek City and our winter event. However, we’re going to be delaying both the B-81 Cavalry and Platoons so we can focus on delivering the vision we have for them.

Stay tuned for more from us on this, and we’ll have more to tell you about our wider plans for 2027 shortly after the holidays.

We’ll see you on the Battlefield.
